Use the New Connection dialog box of the wInsight Wizard to create a new wInsight database connection.

Connection Name

Enter a name for the new database connection.

Enter the user ID to connect to the wInsight database.

Password

Enter the password to connect to the wInsight database.

wInsight doesn’t require a login
|
Select this option to allow users to connect to wInsight as the administrator without entering a user ID and password.

Use your Cobra user ID and password
|
Select this option to allow Cobra to use the ID and password of the logged-on user to log on to wInsight through the wInsight API to transfer data.
|
Use wInsight O/S authentication
|
Select this option to allow Cobra to use wInsight’s operating system authentication when logging on to wInsight.
Note: In an n-tier mode, the direct transfer occurs on the server and not on the client computer. This means that the user logged on to the server is different from the user logged on to the client computer. The server’s credentials and not the client’s credentials are used to log on to wInsight.

Specify your wInsight user ID and password

Select this option to enable the following fields:
- User ID — Enter the wInsight user ID.
- Password — Enter the wInsight password.
